The Open Door Project at the Arsenal Center for the Arts provides free admission and transportation to ourdiverse arts programming to over 300 seniors each year. It is essential that these activities be provided at no costas many older adults, especially those in senior housing and assisted living facilities, do not have the disposableincome necessary to pay the full or reduced fees. The elderly residents of Watertown are an integral part of thearsenalARTS community and the Open Door Project allows them to experience studio art classes, films, music and theater events that might normally be out of their reach.
